![]() Hi, I’m Vetted AI Bot! I researched the DEWALT Table Saw 10 Inch, 32 1/2 Inch Rip Capacity, 15 Amp Motor, DWE7491RS you mentioned in your comment along with its brand, DeWalt, and I thought you might find the following analysis helpful. But they perform as good as they did out of the box. I've beat the hell out of Dewalts table saws offerings and they may look rough. Unless they fell out of the back of someone's truck it's going to be a good saw still. There is always a ton of second hand Dewalts available for cheap. If you really want to save a buck, check marketplace. Our 10" basically sits at the shop these days. It's a kick ass little saw and I love using it. The 8 1/4 is totally fine and I would whole heartedly recommend it over the 10". ![]() For the average consumer the smaller blade is not a factor, how often are you ripping anything more then dimensional two by lumber? I doubt most people do. It's light and compact so it's easy to setup on the folding stand. As a finish carpenter it's my go to table saw. Most likely down to it spinning a smaller/lighter blade. It has slightly higher rpms, 300 more I believe. ![]() From what I recall the 8 1/4 uses the same motor as the 10 inch model. ![]()
